About Wendelyn

"We enjoyed your Music For Me so much! As I had mentioned, Grace was so sad when she became to old to attend! We loved the parent child bonding time. You also have a wonderful gift for reaching out to children and making them feel so special! We will never forget you practicing and learning "Fight Song" and sharing it will Grace. I can also still hear her singing "John The Rabbit" with you, and we still sing it together too. Thank You for helping us teach our girl confidence and friendship. We will cherish our class memories for years to come. If you ever decide to branch out to an older age group we will be the first ones to sign up!"

Wendelyn Daly,

Music Specialist

My first time performing in front of a crowd was when I was two years old.  Let's just say it was a very memorable experience for everyone!  Growing up, music was a part of our lives.  We used to travel to churches, festivals, and events and sing as a Southern Gospel Quartet.  My dad was a self taught musician, who sang and played the piano.  My mother, older sister, and I would join in with tight harmony, as my dad accompanied us.

As an early childhood educator, I used music to teach, comfort, support, and bring more joy to our days.  As a mom, you'll constantly hear our two boys and me singing and sometimes, you'll even hear my husband.  If there isn't a song that fits the moment we're in, we'll just make one up!

I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, over twenty years of experience teaching, and have presented music workshops for local childcare facilities, as well as Conferences at the State and University Level.

In September 2015, I started facilitating developmental music classes in our small town of North Liberty, Indiana, and the neighboring town, Walkerton.  These two classes opened up many other opportunities to provide experiences with music to young children.  The Music For me Classes have been taught in 7 different towns in Indiana, even branching up into Michigan.  I've been able to go into various schools and Boys and Girls Clubs to teach older children how to understand and fall in love with music.
